The London Centre for Cosmetic Dentistry takes great pride in its staff. From the highly trained dental receptionists to Nina, Mervyn's dental nurse; the staff at our practice are here to ensure that you are cared for in a warm and friendly environment. We all understand that not everyone likes to visit the dentist, however, here at our practice you will find that your nerves vanish, plus we have the NuCalm system which is a non-sedative, all natural calming treatment that will have you relaxed in no time.
Bernita, Kate and Desiree are our dedicated onsite hygienists, who are here to make sure that your oral hygiene and smiles are kept in tip top condition.
At the end of June, Dr Mervyn Druian was presented with an award at the World Aesthetic Congress (WAC) for his 30 year contribution to the field of dentistry. Not only was many a beauty editor happy that Mervyn had received such an accolade “That's great news and WELL deserved!! X” from Harper’s Bazaar and the Daily Mail: “That's great news. The dentist behind many recognisable, famous and beautiful smiles Mervyn has over 30 years of experience; and in 1983 he caused a phenomenon in UK dentistry, when he became the first UK dentist to introduce the practice of porcelain veneers. He was also the first to pioneer tooth whitening. Since then, Mervyn's cosmetic and aesthetic work has become world renowned and he frequently lectures and teaches around the world. Not only is Mervyn recognised by his peers as one of the leading innovators, but he is often heralded by beauty editors as "the leading expert in cosmetic dentistry" and was the principle dentist on Extreme Makeovers UK.
Mervyn is a member of the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry (BACD). He is currently on the editorial board of Private Dentistry and Dental Aesthetics and is also on a number of advisory committees of the British Dental Association (BDA). In 2007 Dr Mervyn Druian's work received one of the highest accolades, when he was placed on the distinguished American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry's (AACD) Presidents Honour Role, one of very few dentists in the UK to receive such an honour.

Dr Ken Spektor is a very experienced dentist, specialising in restorative dentistry. He has completed many courses to keep abreast in his field and has a special interest in the highly skilled field of Endodontics. In 1989 Ken and Mervyn decided to form a partnership in Hampstead, London and co-founded the London Centre for Cosmetic Dentistry, the London Tooth Whitening Centre and the London Breath Centre.
Following university, Ken Spektor joined his father's successful Cape Town dental practice, where he set up the Dental Clinic, providing free treatment for the underprivileged in the Townships. It was his first of many humanitarian projects and is still a success after 35 years, a fantastic example of Ken's dedication to the field of dentistry.
Ken's humanitarian work also takes him to isolated rural areas in Third World Countries, helping those who may not have access to dental treatment. He has worked and taught in places such as Guatemala and Honduras. For three weeks of every year, Ken and his wife volunteer and venture deep into the mountains and undertake dental work on the indigenous tribes. Ken's charity dental work is entirely funded by Mervyn, Ken and The London Centre for Cosmetic Dentistry.
